Third Month of Pregnancy: The Symptoms You May Encounter

Still, some of the symptoms you’ll experience on the third month are the same old symptoms you’ve been feeling, some of which you’ll hardly notice anymore. And they’re still not universal!

The physical symptoms..

  • Frequent urination

  • Sleepiness and fatigue

  • Excessive salivation

  • Nausea, you may or may not vomit.

  • Food aversions

  • Cravings for specific foods

  • Indigestion

  • Flatulence

  • Heartburn

  • Bloating

  • Breast changes, tenderness, fullness, heaviness, darkening of the areola, tingling, prominent sweat glands.

  • Constipation

  • Occasional headaches

  • Leukorrhea, whitish vaginal discharge

  • Newly visible veins

  • Occasional dizziness or possible faintness

  • Increased apetite

  • Enlargement of abdomen by the end of the month

And let’s not forget the emotional symptoms:

  • Mood Swings, irritability, irrationality, weepiness.

  • Mixed Emotions, fear, elation, misgivings, joy.

  • Sense of calmness (new and definitely good news!)

Even better (though old) news—they are still not universal (oh, I’ve mentioned this already).
