Sixth Month of Pregnancy: The Symptoms You May Encounter
By now, many of the symptoms would already have gotten harder to notice. You’re likely to have grown desensitized to them. More so, they are still not universal and you may not experience some of them at all.
Physical Symptoms
- Indigestion
- Flatulence
- Heartburn
- Bloating
- Constipation
- Occasional headaches
- Occasional dizziness or possible faintness
- Increased appetite
- Whitish vaginal discharge
- Pink toothbrush, or bleeding gums
- Occasional nosebleeds
- Nasal congestion
- Ear stuffiness
- Hemorrhoids
- Mild swelling of feet and ankles, sometimes of hands and feet too
- More noticeable fetal movement
- Leg cramps
- Backache
- Navel protrudes
- Skin color changes, mainly on the face and abdomen
- Enlarged breasts
- Itchy abdomen
- Achiness along the sides and in the lower abdomen
Emotional Symptoms
- Absentmindedness
- Even fewer mood swings
- Boredom at the thought of pregnancy (understandably so.. everybody’s like talking about it)
- Anxiety and worries about the future
I have to stress the good news—the symptoms are not universal!
Relax and make your pregnancy the joyous occasion that it is!
