Ghosts of Past Abortions
So you’ve had abortions before. Now that you finally want to have a baby, ghosts of the past keep coming back to haunt you. So should you be worried? Will past abortions affect your pregnancy?
The Timing
It all depends on the timing of your past abortions. If you had an abortion at the early stage of your pregnancy, or at least during the first-trimester (or before the fourteenth week), then you should not have any problem at all. But you do have a problem if you’ve had abortions performed during the second trimester (that is, between the 14th and 27th week), for you face the possibility of a premature delivery.
So what should you do? For starters, let your attending practitioner know about the past abortions. You don’t want to keep secrets from him, especially not on this one. You will only get the care that you need if your practitioner is well-informed of your condition.

Nice advice. That’s so true to always make sure your practitioner knows about all your medical history, the more the know the more they can better take care of you.
