How Did the Submarine Nearly Crash?
There have lately been some big incidents of army war ships colliding with each other. The ships below the water level were carrying dangerous bombs but only slightly crashed as they hit bumpers. Although it was a very close miss the bumpers did still end up connecting and created millions of pounds worth of damages.
The next occurence happened just off of the Irish Republic and was with a Russian war ship, which in fact ended up dropping over 300 tons of oil into the sea. Although this vessel was not nuclear it could still have a devastating effect on the sea life.
So this leads us to ask a certain question and that is how equipment which costs millions of pounds manages to collide into each other? Why was this over looked before? Could you think of the devastation if these two vessels collided head on? Not only would everyone on board fail to live but it would cause a nuclear explosion which potentially has the ability to end the world.
This may sound a bit far fetched, but it is just not acceptable, these tanks are huge machines that are trusted to take dangerous chemicals, missiles and bombs all across the globe. You would presume that one of these vessels would have spotted one another and moved but it was like both of theie satelite navigations were not working. It just points out the fact that the human eye just cannot be beaten even by the greatest technolohies.
